Dr. Dre Tour Beats.... fakes?

Today, I got them. I'll tell the truth, I'm cheap and ordered them off of ebay. And well, since it wasn't from a surely legit seller, I went online and checked if they were fake or real. On the web, I found several videos/forums/pictures of different fakes of these headphones. Generally, I saw two fakes. One type was easily told by the box. If not the box, then a lot on the headphones were missing. Then, there was the confusing second type. This type was A LOT closer to the real; And I believe this is the fake I got. Really, I think I'm just being paranoid and that these are actually real, but for $50, I doubt it. For those of you who got some Dr Dre Tour Beats online and want to try and see if they're real or not, here's some links.

I found these videos especially helpful:

EDIT: Nevermind about that second close-type I mentioned. I'm pretty sure it's actually a video of old
and new revisions of the headphones. Here's the video I was referring to:

  1. WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?

You know you're paying way more than you should for a name, right? quality > appearance.

Also, I just spent 10 minutes playing that damn helicopter game.

  2. Well if you were under the illusion that beats are actually good, I wouldn't blame you for buying them off ebay for 50 bucks, because that's basically all they are worth. But if you were looking for a great sounding pair of cans and 50 dollars was your limit I'd personally recommend saving up for something that's worth it. But since you got this, hopefully they don't sound so bad. :)

  4. l don't know why you want them so bad, tell me please if it's the style (than i wouldn't complain), or if it's the "quality".

  5. I can understand how you feel, but with that there is always a risk you have to take if you go through with it. Always be careful and sometimes it best to just pay full price...except in this case. beats are overrated.

  6. I'll tell you right now, if anyone is thinking of getting these headphones, do so ONLY if you have a friend who gets a discount at futureshop or bestbuy, other than that these are super overpriced.

  12. Meh

    Are beats even good headphones?

I'm looking for new headphones to buy, I want some non-earbuds because I think earbuds hurt your ears in the long run, plus they dont last as long.
